The Globe Farming Expo Lawn, located 6 miles north of town center Kunming, was the location of Globe Gardening Exposition organised by Kunming in May 1st until Oct Thirty first, 1999. From May 1 to Oct 31, 1999, the Chinese government organised the Globe Farming Expo '99 whose concept is "Man and Nature-Marching Toward the Twenty-first Century".
